​We are a husband and wife team based in Townsville, in sunny North Queensland.  The weather here is beautiful one day, perfect the next!  We have taken on the ownership of the business assets from late May 2025, from a more southern area to relocate it to the seaside 'Ville.  It was the best decision we made to take over when we did.  Timing is everything.  We really like to meet and talk to people, so this is a bonus for us too.

That being said, we are still making the same types of paint, in the same or better manner, to the same or better standards, using the same or better formulas, with the same or better results.  Each day we are looking to improve on how we make our paint, to be able to give you a much better product.  We look with pride at your builds and think "That's our paint on there - we made that colour with our own hands."

We believe our product is second-to-none, and really love to see the final results of your hard work with our paints on your completed kits.  If you have not tried our paints yet, you should do yourself a favour and give them a go.  You will see the difference yourself that is Model Paint Company paint!
